He was born in Edremit in 1986. After finishing his primary education in Çatalca in Istanbul, he graduated from Mersin Anatolian High School in 2004. In 2008 he trained at Gülhane Military Medical Faculty before graduating from Mersin Medical Faculty in 2010. After his graduation, he worked in Emergency Service and Family Medicine in the towns of Varto and Fuzan in Muş. He has been a professional skier since 1994. Since March 2013, he has been working at Private Lokman Hekim Esnaf Hospital.
